Hello and welcome to my blog. I noticed as I looked around the internet for information on golf courses in Hawaii the offerings were sparse. So I figured why not blog about my adventures on the golf courses that I play.
A little about myself, I am a high handicapper, an unofficial 28 according to Yahoo's handicap tracker. I am looking for an official USGA golf club to play with so I can make my handicap official. I play once a week mostly on Oahu's municipal courses: Ala Wai, Makalena West Loch, etc. Luckily I do get to play a public course once a month so keep an eye out for my reviews on the track of the week.
Primary purpose of the blog is to give golfers information that is sorely lacking on the internet, present day course reviews. Everything from fairway and green conditions to the quality of the 19th hole. I will try to be objective as possible with the service of golf course personnel. Also, the blog will serve as a tracker of my progress as I pursue my ultimate golf goal in getting my handicap to the midteens.
Hopefully, this blog will get some followers and who knows maybe I might play a round with some of you at Ala Wai.
